Currently on display with the exhibition, Views of Greenwood. Art Giclee print.
A figure walks along the Katy railroad tracks near Greenwood Avenue. The solid buildings of Greenwood contrast with the soaring National Bank building (now the 320 South Boston building), a symbol of oil wealth and influence. Thompson captured a moment of transition--of moving from one space to the other--but the tracks as a dividing line seem impassable.
